When power cuts occur, your appliances may need to be reset in order to function properly. If your Samsung fridge – freezer display is not working after you’ve experienced a power cut, then here are three quick steps to get your fridge – freezer back in operation.
Check that the fridge-freezer is working
The first step is checking that the fridge -freezer is in operation. If the light is on inside the fridge, then this is a good sign. If not, test the socket using another device to check if the problem is the power socket or the appliance.
Turn it off
Like most appliances, a simple reset will help to reboot the fridge- freezer. Unplug it for at least 10 seconds, then plug it back in and recheck the fridge-freezer vitals.
Push the temperature display button
Once you have confirmed that your fridge has power, press the temperature display button. This should bring the display back on. Please note that on most models, it may take about 10 seconds for the display to come back on due to energy-saving settings.
Still can’t see the display?
If the above steps do not solve the issue, then you may need an engineer to assess and repair your fridge – freezer.
